Memorial Day Murph with MDC - Long Lake

Mark your calendars for the 9th Annual Memorial Day Challenge!

Join us in Long Lake for one of the most amazing and inspiring fitness events of the year. Over the past 8 years, gyms from all across the twin cities have come together as one community to participate in Murph with MDC.

In honoring our veterans, while putting our fitness to the test, we've raised over $125,000 for local Veterans' Charities.

Choose Your Division:

Male Elite -  Full workout completed with 20# vest.   Suggested time: 40 mins - 55 mins.

Female Elite - Full workout completed with 14# vest.  Suggested time:  48 - 65 mins

Male RX - Full workout completed RX (no vest required, but allowed!)

Female RX - Full workout completed RX (no vest required, but allowed!)

Male Scaled - Movements may be scaled as needed (jumping pull-ups, bands, knee pushups, etc).  Both runs will still be 1 mile each.

Female Scaled - Movements may be scaled as needed (jumping pull-ups, bands, knee pushups, etc). Both runs will still be 1 mile each.

Teams of 2 RX:  BOTH members run BOTH miles together, split pull-ups/pushups/squats as desired to equal 100/200/300 TOTAL, athletes will work at same time.  Movements done to RX standard (no vest required).

Teams of 2 Scaled: BOTH members run BOTH miles together, split pull-ups/pushups/squats as desired to equal 100/200/300 TOTAL, working at same time.  Movements may be scaled as necessary by one or both partners.

Parent / Child:  1/2 mile run to start, then parent & child split 50/100/150 however desired, working at same time, scaling as much as needed, 1/2 mile run to finish.  Kids must be 15 or younger.

Kids (ages 6 - 14): 1/2 mile run, 25 pull-ups, 50 pushups, 75 squats (scaled as needed), 1/2 mile run

MnFire Firefighter's Heat:  If you are a fire fighter, we'd love to have you enter this division created in conjunction with our 2022 partner, MnFire!  You can choose to do this in your gear or not, and as written or scaled as much as needed.
