About Teacher Training

What is Barre?

Barre combines the best of the best: The core strength of Pilates, the mindfulness of yoga, and the high intensity of strength workouts. Classes are low-impact and performed at a slower pace, with a focus on high-reps, isometric holds, and small range movements that target smaller muscle groups.

The Training:

This 2-Day Training will teach you the fundamentals of barre philosophy, and the biomechanics of the human body needed to make all barre classes accessible to every body. This training is for any student wanting to learn more about barre, their body biomechanics, or for those who have a passion to teach the barre format.

The Breakdown:

Day 1: We will cover the fundamentals of barre, the biomechanics of the human body, understanding how to strengthen the body and identifying how different students move. You can attend DAY 1 of class as a student looking to learn more about barre, and the biomechanics of your body, but not necessarily be looking to teach.

Day 2: We will cover barre sequencing and formatting.
