JOIN US FOR THE 2021 BROST CLINIC MEMORIAL DAY CHALLENGE!

We are thrilled to announce that the 8th Annual Memorial Day Challenge is on this year! Memorial Day is May 31st, and there's no better way to spend the holiday than completing Murph with some pretty amazing athletes! The event is outside, and all the proceeds will be donated to Jared Allen's Homes For Wounded Warriors. We are so excited to give back to those that have served and we'd love for you (and all your gym buddies and family members) to join us again in 2021. It will be an awesome day of fitness, in the sunshine (hopefully!), supporting a wonderful cause, remembering a Hero, and honoring all those that have served!

We have moved to Long Lake this year (just a couple miles west of Wayzata), and we will be lakeside at Nelson Park! There will be plenty of activities for the whole family ... in addition to the main event! A beach, a playground, a frisbee golf course, and plenty of vendors! For the workout itself, we will have several divisions to choose from, so everyone is able to participate! We even have a kids only heat this year (ages 6+), as well as a parent/child division! Want to challenge yourself? Sign up for the Elite division and wear a weighted vest this year! (see past podium winners HERE).

We also need volunteers! Sign up to help with registrations, course set up, judging, rig set up / take down, time keeping, etc! We appreciate your support! You can sign up to volunteer with the link below (and you can volunteer AND participate in the workout)!

Be sure to also buy a raffle ticket at registration for an awesome Idol Surf Stand Up Paddle board! All money raised from the raffle will also go to charity! Click the 'Merchandise' button on the registration page to purchase tickets! There will also be a silent auction on the day of the event with some awesome items!

Please join us this year to give back (and bring your crew)! Sign up now!

The workout:
1 mile run
100 Pull-ups
200 Push-ups
300 Squats
1 mile run

It is done by people all over the country in memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, N.Y., who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005.

This workout was one of Mike's favorites and he'd named it "Body Armor". From here on it will be referred to as "Murph" in honor of the focused warrior and great American who wanted nothing more in life than to serve this great country and the beautiful people who make it what it is.

*the middle movements can be partitioned anyway you like, but must be completed in between the runs.

This workout is doable for all athletes. You can choose to do this as a team, with your kiddo, and/or modify any of the movements as you need. Don't let the pull-ups or push-ups scare you away! We've got options for those that choose not to do pull-ups (ring rows, jumping pull-ups, banded pull-ups, etc)! And push-ups can be done on your knees, or onto a box!

We'd love to see this community come out in full force this Memorial Day!
